Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
An opportunity had arisen within our Maintenance Department for a Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias. This role is a double day shift, but the successful candidate needs to be flexible at short notice with their working pattern.

Job Description
- Maintain and repair CNC Machines Mazak, Studer and other OEM Machinery.
- Work to schedules to ensure customer demands are met.
- Predictive, preventative and reactive maintenance within the facility.
- Ensure all activities are completed within Health and Safety guidelines.
- Complete job reports after Job completion.
Essential Criteria
- Knowledge of CNC machine tools and servicing/repairing them.
- Electrical bias but able to take on Mechanical tasks as required.
- Understanding of electrical drawings.
- Knowledge and understanding of Mazak control systems.
- Ability to work under pressure but still work to very high standards.
- Flexible approach to a varied workload.
- Support all departments when required.
- Comfortable working at Height.
- Able to work in Confident Spaces.
- Flexible with working hours at short notice.
- Strong Team Player.
- Positive approach to be involved with future Investments.
- Clear communication at all levels of the customer organisation.
Desirable Criteria
Apprenticeship, qualification in engineering.
8th Edition or higher Electrical qualification.
PLC fault finding experience.
Previous experience working in a Maintenance Engineer position.
The Reward
Salary range is £31,200 – £51,600pa D.O.E and this includes a 20% Shift Premium.
