The Company

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

This vacancy is to offer Temporary Maternity cover.

This is a challenging role involving departmental administration, liaising with YMX service branches and their customers across Europe. Sourcing, packing and shipping of machine parts, dealing with charge base orders, warranty requests, AX and export compliance, and becoming Health and Safety Department representative.

Due to increased demand, our client now has a requirement for a Quality and Technical Support Engineer – Administrator.

Job Description:

  • All departmental office administration requirements
  • Reviewing, answering and investigating customer parts enquiries via PIDB system
  • Sourcing, packing and delivery of spare parts to customers (YMX) across Europe.
  • Dealing with Export control and customs / compliance issues
  • Health and Safety Representative

Person Specification:

Essential Criteria:

  • You will have a good understanding of the MAZAK product
  • Ideally have worked in office administration in previous roles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of AX system and export compliance
  • Team Player
  • Self-Managing
  • Highly motivated
  • High level of computer literacy
